Charisma Cardz Challenge #17

Hi! I am entering this card into this week's Charisma Cardz Challenge. The theme is 'thank you'. You have to make a card saying thank you.
I'm not giving this one to anyone in particular but it'll be useful if I want to say thank you to someone some time and I don't have time to make a card.

Image: Forever Friends
Backing Paper: K & Co. - Sparkly Sweet
Mosaic Tiles: Unknown
Flower: Prima
Flower Centre: From Chris
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug

I can't wait until the weekend! And it'll be a long one too! I'll have Saturday, Sunday and Monday off and then go back on Tuesday when I'll be having my HPV vaccination against cervical cancer. I had the other two injections last year and this will be the last one and then I'm fully immunised!

Thanks for looking! :)

Our Creative Corner Challenge

Hello! Here is my entry for this week's Our Creative Corner Challenge. There is a really easy theme, for this challenge - make a card using one of your favourite colours combinations.

I like pink green and blue together so I raided my papers and found this Paisley pattern in my Sparkly Sweet Pad.

Thanks for looking! I hope the weather improves for everyone soon! I don't know if it's just the north-west of England that's being affected? Come back sun!

I'm looking forward to tomorrow because I'm going to have a lesson-free day at school! In the morning I've got an orthodontist appointment and I'm getting my braces fitted. Then in the afternoon, I'll be going back to school but me and lots of my friends in my form are taking part in a special workshop where we will be putting on a presentation to some primary-school children!

Then the icing on the cake is that in the evening I've got Waterloo Road and The Apprentice to watch! Yay! Sorry, I know I'm a bit sad to get this excited over T.V. programmes!

Birthday Card

Hi there! I have made this card for my friend Ellie who's going to be thriteen next Monday. She is having a movie party on Saturday so that's when I'll give it to her. I've bought her a black and white leopard-print shoulder bag, a big bottle of grapefruit bodywash and some vanilla lip balm.
She likes bright colours and animals so I thought the spotty paper and the elephant would be nice for her.

Crafty Monkeys Challenge #20

Hello! I'm sorry I haven't posted a card for a while - I've been busy...it was my dad's birthday on Saturday and I've been doing quite a lot over the second week of the Easter holidays. Plus I've been getting up-to-date with my homework.

Firstly, I want to show you what Carole at Stardust Gems And Ribbons sent me.

The other day I received a parcel with all this inside! I have received a beautiful paper pad which is great as I haven't got any of the designer paper pads.

Also she sent some Stickles, lovely flowers and sticky pearls and a little flowery tin with a Hanglar stamp inside! I'm thrilled as I know you can't get them in this country.

Thank you ever so much Carole, it was a wonderful surprise and I really appreciate it!

I have made a card using some of the lovely papers Carole sent me...here it is:

The theme for this fortnight's Crafty Monkeys Challenge is 'Spring' so I thought the flowery paper would fit it nicely.

Materials:

Backing Papers: Flower Patch - Making Memories

Sentiment: Printed off the computer

Heart Gems: Club Green

Image: Anya

White Leaves: One of my mum's punches

Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of the week.

Sketch and Stash Challenge #7

Hi there! Here is my entry for this week's Sketch and Stash Challenge.
I am really pleased with this card!
There was an 'open sketch' to follow for this challenge; the position of the paper panels and the image is compulsory but you are allowed the put the sentiment and embellishments wherever you want so I came up with this.
It is my first card using a 'Gorjuss' stamp as I was surprised at how easy she was to colour - I have seen how so many people leave a little white section on her fringe to show a sheen from the light but I didn't really know how to do this so I coloured her fringe in fully.
Materials:
Image: Gorjuss
Colouring: ProMarkers (given to me by Mum after she got her Copics, woo hoo! Thanks Mum!)
Backing Paper: From Sarita
Leaves: From Mum's Stash
Sentiment: Studio G
Flowers (Black and White): From Michele
Pearl Flowers: Unknown
Gems in Flower Centres: From Tab
Gems on Image: PaperMania
Thanks for looking - HAPPY EASTER!

Just a quick post to wish everyone a wonderful Easter!

P.S. Don't eat too much chocolate...

Just joking, you can never have too much chocolate!

Crafty Monkeys Challenge #19

Hi! In this post, I am showing two pictures of my entry for this fortnight's Crafty Monkeys Challenge and also a picture of my friend Elisha's entry, who doesn't have a blog.
A couple of months ago, I posted a picture of a card that Elisha had made because we got together one day, made some cards and I offered to post it on my blog. Yesterday, me and my brother went to her house because her mum was looking after us while my mum was at work and we made a card each.
I explained to her about blog challenges and asked if she would like to be entered into one and have the chance of winning a prize - she was really excited at the chance so below is another picture of my card and then one of Elisha's.

Thanks for looking and Elisha, if you read this, good luck with the challenge!

Woof-Tastic

Hello! Here is my 'woof-tastic' card! I've had an idea of a puppy theme in my mind for ages but haven't actually attempted a card but I was looking through my paper draw to choose paper for a card and I found this paper I received from Caroline a couple of months ago.
I wanted my card to look chic and have a 'French' style so I thought this stamp was perfect because I think the girl has a very sophisticated look about her.
I'm really pleased with the result and would like to thank Caroline again for this gorgeous paper!

Materials:
Image: Rubber Romance
Sentiment: Printed off the computer
Backing Paper: From Caroline
Gems: PaperMania
Pearl Hearts: Unknown
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug

Thanks for taking the time to look!

One Stop Craft Challenge #22

Hi. Here is the card I made to enter into this week's 'One Stop Craft Challenge'.

The theme this week is 'Bling It'. Therefore, you have to add some kind of bling to your creation. I put glitter glue on the wing, used sparkly ribbon and a glittery brad. It is quite a simple card, but I am quite pleased with the result.

I also tried some faux stitching around the edge with my new fineliner pens.

Glitter: Craft Planet
Ribbon: From Sharon
Fineliner Pen (Black): Staedtler
Brad: PaperMania
Big Blue Flower: From Tab
