Anniversary Card

Hi everyone! Today I've got my mum and dad's anniversary card to show you, as their anniversary is coming up on Friday.
I went for a more simple card than I usually would, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out!

I am entering it into this week's Just Magnolia Challenge, where the theme is 'Let's Get Sentimental', so to qualify for the challenge, you must use a sentiment on your card. I tried to make a bit of a feature of the 'LOVE' lettering, so hopefully my card qualifies as 'sentimental'! :)

I am also entering it into this week's Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge, where the theme is turquoise and brown.

I can't wait until The X Factor starts again tonight, and the final of Big Brother is on Tuesday as well, so there's lots of good TV at the moment! :)

Daring Cardmakers - Anniversaries

Hi there!
My mum and dad's 15th wedding anniversary is coming up this Friday, so this card is for them. I am also making them a meal and I have got them some wine and chocolates to go with it.
I used one of my new High Hopes images that my mum stamped out for me, which I love!

I've told my mum to temporarily remove me from her 'Blogs I Follow' list so she isn't tempted to peek, and I've hid the wine and chocs in my room! Don't tell! Ha ha ;)

I am entering the card into this week's Daring Cardmakers Challenge, where the theme is conveniently 'Anniversaries'.


The image is High Hopes, the sentiment was printed off my computer, the backing paper is October Afternoon, the glitter cardstock is from a local homeware shop and the flower, chipboard heart, heart gems, red gems, and fluffy ribbon is from my stash. The glitter is Craft Planet.

Penny Black Birthday Challenge

My Time To Craft Challenge #48

Happy Valentine's Day. My dad asked me to make a Valentine's card for my mum so here it is! I was tempted to go for pink or red but saw this pretty gold card in my paper box and decided to use that instead.

After I had made it, I decided to make a card to enter a challenge and came across the 'My Time To Craft' Challenge which is asking for cards with gold on them.

What a conincidence! I decided to enter this card into it.
