Cancer Research UK - Coast To Coast Walk

Hi everyone!
Thank you for all your lovely comments on my last card!

This is just a quick post, as I wanted to let you know about my friend, Megan, who is going to be walking a Coast to Coast walk to raise money for Cancer Research UK with her dad. She is fourteen, the same age as me.

She will be walking from St. Bee's Head in Cumbria on the edge of the Irish Sea, all the way to Robin Hood's Bay on the North East Coast, 192 miles in total!
She and her dad's goal is to reach £1000 in sponsor money and I just wanted to let you know that if you would like to sponsor her, however little you can donate would be much appreciated, and the more sponsors they receive, the closer they will get to reaching their goal. Even as little as a pound can make a huge difference.

Summer

Hi there! I'm sorry I've been away for so long, but at the moment, I'm struggling to find time to craft because I have exams and coursework to do for school at the moment, as I am doing my GCSEs.

This is my Design Team project for the Crafty Calendar Challenge. My friend, Megan's birthday is coming up in the middle of July, so I painted and decorated this little box I found in my art things and I've bought a little silver and purple charm bracelet to go inside it as a present, which I picked because she loves purple! :)

The theme at the Crafty Calendar Challenge this month is 'Summer', so I used this sweet little Anya image and bright colours to give it a summery feel, especially because Megan's birthday is in the height of summer.

Phew...All Fixed!

Hi there! I'm really glad because my computer has been fixed and it turned out to be something really small, which is good, because I was assuming it was going to cost a lot to put it right, but it's all sorted now! :)

I had a really crafty day yesterday and made a Father's Day card for my dad and this card with one of my mum's new Anya stamps.

I'm entering it into this week's Cupcake Craft Challenge, where the theme is 'Dazzle Us', so you have to use glitter or gems or anything sparkly really.

Crafty Monkeys Challenge #19

Hi! In this post, I am showing two pictures of my entry for this fortnight's Crafty Monkeys Challenge and also a picture of my friend Elisha's entry, who doesn't have a blog.

A couple of months ago, I posted a picture of a card that Elisha had made because we got together one day, made some cards and I offered to post it on my blog. Yesterday, me and my brother went to her house because her mum was looking after us while my mum was at work and we made a card each.

I explained to her about blog challenges and asked if she would like to be entered into one and have the chance of winning a prize - she was really excited at the chance so below is another picture of my card and then one of Elisha's.

Murder Mystery!

Hello! This is a rather strange post but I just wanted to let you know about the 'murder mystery' party I have been invited to. My friend Carina is having a 'Cluedo' themed party and has given everyone a character of her choice. I am supposedly a French exchange student! This isn't really me in the photo, that's just what was me in the invitation. My name is 'Dominique Juneau'! Fancy, hm? Tee hee!

I can't wait! I shall have to start practicing my French accent!

Crafty Monkeys Challenge #15

Hi there! Here is the card I am entering into the Crafty Monkeys Challenge. The theme is 'Love and Friendship' so I have made this card for my friend Carina. I've seen this image used for male cards a lot before so I was a bit wary about using it but decided to give it a more feminine look by adding the pink and the flowers.

I am quite pleased with the turn-out.
