Blue & Green

Hi everyone! I'm back again with another card - I'm making the most of the free time I have by making cards, yay!
I don't know about you, but my last post title has contradicted itself a bit now, seeing as it's been pouring down with rain non-stop for the last couple of days here in the North-West! It feels more like Autumn or Winter now, but oh well; it's nice and cosy. :)

I went for a blue and green theme to this card. I've had this Tilda image for ages - it's one that my mum stamped for me a while ago, and it's definitely one of my favourite Tilda images, but I haven't used it until now!

Materials:

Image: Magnolia

Sentiment: Tim Holtz

Colouring: Polychromatic Pencils

Papers: Prima - Annalee

Cardstock: Bazzil

Distress Ink: Tim Holtz - Scattered Straw

Glitter: Stickles

Flowers: From My Stash

Brads: From My Stash

Lace: From My Stash

Pearls: From My Stash

Flower Punch: Martha Stewart

Chipboard Button: From My Stash

Flourish, Flower & Butterfly Stamps: Tim Holtz - Visual Artistry

Here is a closer view - I really enjoyed colouring this image. I always think the Tildas with wings are so cute!

I'm entering this into these challenges:

- Charisma Cardz - Distressing

- Truly Scumptious - Lace It Up

- My Time To Craft - Fairy Tales

Last night, I watched Planet of the Apes for the first time with my mum, dad and brother, which I really enjoyed! It was really nice sitting and watching a film inside when it was all cold and rainy outside, hee hee!

Tomorrow, me and my brother are going to the cinema to see Mr. Popper's Penguins with Jim Carrey, who is one of my favourite actors, so I'm looking forward to that, and we're going to Pizza Hut on the way back for a treat, yummy! :)

I'll hopefully be back soon with the card and gift I'm going to make today for my great-grandma, who turns ninety-two in a couple of weeks.

Anyway, have a nice week and enjoy your weekend and thanks so much for looking! Thank you for your lovely comments on my last card too, I really appreciate it! :D

Bye for now!

Pink & Sparkly

Hello! Hope you're having a nice weekend wherever you are! I'm making the most of having a free Saturday, without homework or revision to be getting on with. I had a biology exam on Thursday last week, which went quite well. I felt quite confident, but then I realised there was an extra question at the end that I hadn't known about, and I had no time to do it! So, that will have dropped me a few marks unfortunately, but there's nothing I can do about it now, and hopefully it won't affect my grade much.
Anyway, I've got a little breather now until my maths and geography exams in the middle of June, phew!

I had a little challenge hop earlier and there are lots of great challenges about today, so I've made a pink, girly and glittery card and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Materials:
Image: Sugar Nellie
Papers: Imaginisce
Cardstock: Bazzil
Colouring: Polychromatic Pencils
Sentiment: Fairy Doodles
Lace: From My Stash (From Heather)
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug
Distress Ink: Tim Holtz - Brushed Corduroy
Glitter: Stickles
Pearls: From My Stash
Felt Butterfly: From My Stash
Swirl Stamps: Lizzie Ann Designs
Flowers: From My Stash
White Circle: Nestabilities

Can you believe I'm entering this card into ten challenges?! You'd better sit back and put your feet up, ha ha!

- A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge - Anything Goes
- Crafty Emma's Store Challenge - Three Types of Embellishment (Lace, Pearls & Flowers)
- Charisma Cardz Challenge - Birthdays in Pink
- Crafty Calendar Challenge - Teddy Bears
- Creative Card Crew Challenge - Cute and Girly
- Creative Inspirations Challenge - Lace & Pearls
- Oldie But A Goodie Challenge - Teddy Bears' Picnic
- Papertake Weekly Challenge - Bloom & Grow
- Simon Says Challenge - Sparkle 'n' Shine
- Truly Scrumptious Challenge - Anything Goes

Wow, that took a while to link up, hee hee!
Well, I'm off to have a walk to the shop and get some chocolate and then veg on the settee for the afternoon, bliss!

Thanks so much for looking - have a lovely weekend! :)

Cute Anya

Hello, how are you? I can't believe how windy it is at the moment, here in Staffordshire! It's impossible to walk out of the door without your hair being blown around, so it looks like a bird's nest, ha ha!
I tried a slightly different card this time, as I didn't have much of this purple Bazzil cardstock left to mount my design paper, so I thought I'd make a slightly smaller card with a circle attached, which was really easy, and definitely one I'd make again!
I am entering these challenges with my card:
Stamp Something Challenge - 'Something Cute'
Simon Says Challenge - 'Pearls and Lace'
Pile It On Challenge - 'Pile on the Layers'
Cupcake Craft Challenge - 'Books and Stories' (I have chosen 'Love Lessons', a book by Jacqueline Wilson that I really like, as I have lots of hearts on my card!)

Materials:
Image: The Greetings Farm
Papers: Imaginisce
Colouring: Pro Markers
Cardstock: Bazzil
Flowers: From My Stash
Pearls: From My Stash
Lace: From My Stash
Sentiment: Freebie Rub-On Transfer
Star Button: From My Stash
Brad: From My Stash
Glitter: Craft Planet
Corner Punch: Borrowed From My Mum
I took inspiration from the lovely Kim Piggott and edged my paper and card in glitter, which I've always thought looks so pretty on her cards, thanks for the inspiration Kim! :)

Today, my lovely cat Fizzy, has been to the vets for an operation. She had a scale and polish of her teeth, as she had a build-up of tartar, and an investigation on her legs, as she has been limping recently. She had to have an anaesthetic and was very sleepy and cute when she came out of the vets tonight. Here are some pictures of her after we brought her home, aww!

I'm so glad everything has gone well in her operation and hopefully she should bounce back tomorrow from the anaesthetic, no problem! :)
Thanks so much for looking and have a lovely week, at least double-maths Monday is over now, ha ha! :)

Friday Sketchers Challenge 82

Hello! If you haven't seen last night's X Factor, then look away now, lol!
I was really shocked at the results, were you? I'm so glad Joe got through, but I was really surprised that Olly made it through as well!
I so hope Joe wins tonight though!
Anyway, here is my card for this week's Friday Sketchers Challenge. I'm not very keen on it, but I've warmed to it a bit since I made it earlier.
I can't wait to go and do my Chrismtmas shopping on Thursday! I love buying for other people because it's nice being able to think about each person and choose something that you think they'd like.
The image is Miss Anya from The Greetings Farm, I'm not sure who the papers are by, the lace was from Heather, the sentiment is Studio G, the flowers are Prima, the brads are PaperMania and the rest is from my stash.
Thanks for looking, and I hope you enjoy X Factor tonight, if you're watching! :)

Just Magnolia Challenge 27

Hi everyone! Wahey, Monday - not, lol! At least it's half-term for me after this week!
Here is my card for this week's Just Magnolia Challenge, where the theme is 'bright and zingy', so you have to use bright and zingy colours.
I'm not sure about zingy, but I've tried my best to use brighter colours than I normally would.
The image is Magnolia, of course, the backing papers are Making Memories, the flowers are from Rica, the embellishments are from my stash and the colouring was done using Pro Markers, as always.
Well, that's it for now, have a great week! :)

Sketch Saturday Challenge #60

Hello!
Here is my card for this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge.
There is a really fab sketch over there, which you can see below...
I'm pleased with the result of this card because I got to use one of the lovely images Chris sent me.
I really like this one and it was nice to colour.

Here is the sketch:

The image is Penny Black and the sentiment is Studio G. The papers are K&Co. - Roam and the colouring is done with Pro Markers.
The rest is from my stash.
Also, before I go, I thought I'd let you know that I have managed to work out how to put a watermark on my photo. If you want one, click on this link HERE. It's a great website and a really easy process!
Thank you for looking! :)
