Vintage Camera

Hi everyone! Sorry it's been such a while since I last posted! I think the posts will come in dribs and drabs though until after my exams. I had my exam timetable the other day, and my very last one is on the 21st June, so if you hear cheering and screaming on that day coming from the North-West, you'll know why, hee hee! :)

Anyway, I managed to squeeze in some crafting now that it's the school holidays, aside from lots of chilling out in my pyjamas and watching TV, tee hee! I'm going out for lunch with my grandparents tomorrow though and hopefully getting some contact lenses at the opticians on Tuesday, so I won't be lazy all week...just most of it. ;)

I made this card with my new Dovecraft papers, and I thought I'd add a really pretty vintage photo of a camera that I found on the internet.

Blue & Green

Hi everyone! I'm back again with another card - I'm making the most of the free time I have by making cards, yay!
I don't know about you, but my last post title has contradicted itself a bit now, seeing as it's been pouring down with rain non-stop for the last couple of days here in the North-West! It feels more like Autumn or Winter now, but oh well; it's nice and cosy. :)

I went for a blue and green theme to this card. I've had this Tilda image for ages - it's one that my mum stamped for me a while ago, and it's definitely one of my favourite Tilda images, but I haven't used it until now!

Materials:

Image: Magnolia

Sentiment: Tim Holtz

Colouring: Polychromatic Pencils

Papers: Prima - Annalee

Cardstock: Bazzil

Distress Ink: Tim Holtz - Scattered Straw

Glitter: Stickles

Flowers: From My Stash

Brads: From My Stash

Lace: From My Stash

Pearls: From My Stash

Flower Punch: Martha Stewart

Chipboard Button: From My Stash

Flourish, Flower & Butterfly Stamps: Tim Holtz - Visual Artistry

Here is a closer view - I really enjoyed colouring this image. I always think the Tildas with wings are so cute!

I'm entering this into these challenges:

- Charisma Cardz - Distressing

- Truly Scumptious - Lace It Up

- My Time To Craft - Fairy Tales

Last night, I watched Planet of the Apes for the first time with my mum, dad and brother, which I really enjoyed! It was really nice sitting and watching a film inside when it was all cold and rainy outside, hee hee!

Tomorrow, me and my brother are going to the cinema to see Mr. Popper's Penguins with Jim Carrey, who is one of my favourite actors, so I'm looking forward to that, and we're going to Pizza Hut on the way back for a treat, yummy! :)

I'll hopefully be back soon with the card and gift I'm going to make today for my great-grandma, who turns ninety-two in a couple of weeks.

Anyway, have a nice week and enjoy your weekend and thanks so much for looking! Thank you for your lovely comments on my last card too, I really appreciate it! :D

Bye for now!

Chipboard Bookmark

Hi there! Hope you had a great weekend and the weather was good wherever you are!
It was a lovely day yesterday, so me and my mum and dad and brother decided to go to the cattery a few miles away from where we live to get some cat food for my cat, Fizzy. We had a look at some of the cats while we were there and we wanted to take them all home with us, they were sooo cute! :)

Here is a bookmark I made for my grandma, as it's her birthday in a couple of weeks. I used some more of my gorgeous new Basic Grey Green At Heart pad, and also used some new embellishments I got from the NEC in March.

I also used some of this Basic Grey chipboard I've had for ages, but I've never used it because I didn't really know what I could use it for, but I'm glad I used it on this bookmark, because I think it'll make it more sturdy.
I can't remember who this image is by, any ideas? It was sent to me by the lovely Jo, Boots the Monkey.
Finally, I'm entering the bookmark into this week's PaperPlay Challenge, where the theme is to use a stamped or digi image and add some bling!

Thanks so much for looking and have a lovely week! :)
Bye for now!
