Papertake Weekly Challenge

Hellooo! Here is my entry for this week's Papertake Weekly Challenge.
I forgot to choose a challenge before I made my card so I had a scout round afterwards to try and find one that my card fitted.
For this challenge, you have to pick your own colour combination out of pink, black, white, yellow, green, grey and lilac.
I've used grey, green and black but there's a little bit of brown on my card so I think it just about passes! :)
The papers are from Sanne, the flowers are Prima, the image is Daisy & Dandelion, the sentiment is printed off my computer and the rest is from my stash.
Thank you for looking, I hope the weather's OK where you are! I've just looked out of the window and it's grey and rainy here! You wouldn't think it's July, would you? ;)
Anyway, I'd better go for my tea now. Bye!
xx

Colour Create Challenge #14
Hi! Here is my latest card; an entry for this week's Colour Create Challenge.
The colour combination is red, cream and chocolate - yum!
I wasn't sure about how to go about this at first. I immediately assumed I wouldn'd be able to join in as I don't have any red, cream and chocolate paper but then I realised that I could always just use a plain-coloured backing paper and add red and cream accents.
I don't know who this image was from unfortunately, or who it is made by, which is a shame as I love it and I only have one.
There are some gorgeous design team cards over at Colour Create so even if you aren't planning on entering, the cards are worth a look!
Here's a closer view:
Sorry for the poor-quality photography, the light was too yellowy and I was shaky with the camera!
Thanks for looking and good luck if you are entering Colour Create!

Our Creative Corner Challenge
Hello! Here is my entry for this week's Our Creative Corner Challenge. There is a really easy theme, for this challenge - make a card using one of your favourite colours combinations.
I like pink green and blue together so I raided my papers and found this Paisley pattern in my Sparkly Sweet Pad.
Materials:
Image: High Hopes
Sentiment: Studio G
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug
Backing Paper: K & Co. - Sparkly Sweet
Ribbon: PaperMania
Star Gems: PaperMania
Big Pink Flower: From Tab
Small Pink Flower: From Michele
Metal Flower: Unknown
Brad: PaperMania
Thanks for looking! I hope the weather improves for everyone soon! I don't know if it's just the north-west of England that's being affected? Come back sun!
I'm looking forward to tomorrow because I'm going to have a lesson-free day at school! In the morning I've got an orthodontist appointment and I'm getting my braces fitted. Then in the afternoon, I'll be going back to school but me and lots of my friends in my form are taking part in a special workshop where we will be putting on a presentation to some primary-school children!
Then the icing on the cake is that in the evening I've got Waterloo Road and The Apprentice to watch! Yay! Sorry, I know I'm a bit sad to get this excited over T.V. programmes!

'The Little Princess'
Hi there! Here is my latest card. I decided to layer-up the image and if you look at the second picture you'll be able to see properly.
I've been put-off using the hob for a while! I've just been cooking some mince and the oven-glove caught fire while I was holding the handle of the pan! Whoops! I put it in the sink straight away and I am fine. Mum's taken over tea though!
Anyway, here are the materials I used to make the card:
Image: Unknown - from Heather
Sentiment: Studio G
Stars and Ribbons: Hobbycraft
Flowers: White one is Prima, pink one is from Jo
Backing Paper: PaperMania
Thanks for looking!
