Friday Sketchers Challenge #45

Hi there! Here is my entry for this week's Friday Sketchers Challenge.

I am really, really pleased with the result and I'm glad to have made a card I like because I have previously made two cards that I don't like very much, so I'm glad.

My mum stamped out some of her Anya images for me so this is my first Anya card! I love the Anya images as I think they are really cute and they are a pleasure to colour.

This particular Anya came with two little outfits to colour so I picked this little dress and then raised it up off her body with foam squares.

Crafty Monkeys Guest Designer

Hello! I have been selected to be this fortnight's guest designer on Zoe's challenge blog: Crafty Monkeys.

The theme was Easter so I raided my stuff and found some suitable things to use.

I experimented with panels this time. There were going to be three panels and the card was going to be wider to fit the other panel on but when I was sticking it down, I stuck it lopsided so I tried to peel it off and straighten it but the glue had started to go tacky and it ripped. Oh well! :)

Birthday Gifts!

Hi there! I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for all my beautiful cards and crafting goodies sent to me for my birthday. I'm sorry I haven't posted before now but I've been snowed under with a long-winded history project and I've only just finished it - good riddance to it, tee hee!
I was going to include some pictures of all the lovely things I've received so it would be like a proper gallery but my computer started playing up because there was so much memory in all the pictures so I wasn't able to. Sorry about that.
I had a lovely birthday and all the things I've had made my day. I was overwhelmed with all that I got sent and I'm having lots of fun using it! Thank you so much!
I will thank you all individually after I have finished this post.

Colour Create Challenge #6

Hello! This is my entry for this week's Colour Create Challenge.

The colours for this week are orange, green and yellow; nice summery colours.

The extra option was to make something different than a card. The design team came up with some brilliant ideas and they're creations are worth a look, even if you aren't planning on entering!

I have made a trinket box out of card. I find these really useful as gifts - you can fill them with sweets or whatever and they're ideal for birthdays or Mother's Day!

I filled mine with bath fizzers as you can see in the pictures below. I really enjoyed making this!
