I've Been Tagged!

Hi, I've been tagged! I had to upload the sixth picture out of the sixth folder of my computer!

This is a picture of me on holiday in 2006 in the Costa Del Sol in Spain. We went to a crocodile park and me and my brother got to hold baby crocodiles! I was nervous at first but their mouths had been taped up so they couldn't bite!

I was nine here, almost ten. They felt really strange as I expected them to be hard and rough but their tummies were soft and warm!

Also, I have to write ten interesting facts about myself so here goes!

-1- I love to write and have had two poems published.

-2- I would love to have children when I am older.

-3- I don't know where I'd be without capital letters! It drives me crazy when people miss out capital letters for names, places, titles etc. (Yes, I am fussy! Tee hee!).

-4- I am a strange eater - most people mix their foods together and eat things together for mixed tastes but I always eat each separate component of my meal one at a time! Weird, I know!

-5- When I can't get to sleep at night, I design my dream house in my head and it usually helps me drop off!

-6- I'm a bit of a list maker! I make 'to-do-lists' of what I need to do, even if I don't finish everything on it!

-7- I am very interested in how the brain works and am planning to take psychology as a GCSE option when I pick them after half-term!

-8- My favourite thing to eat in the whole world is chocolate fudge cake - I could eat a swimming pool full of them!

-9- I collect perfume! I must have at least fifteen or sixteen bottles on my shelf in my wardrobe!

-10- I hate being late! I take after my dad, not my mum! As she is late for everything!

Spend Up!

Hello! Here is a picture of the things I bought from Hobbycraft yesterday! I got some brilliant deals and am really pleased as I've got loads of pretty papers and embellishments!

Just in case you can't see much from the picture, here is what I bought:

Three packets of white card, four packs of fifty patterned papers, two small packs of brads and one bumper pack of brads, a pack of six ribbon coils, three rolls of patterned ribbon, a roll of double-sided tape, some silicone glue, a pack of dome stickers, five sets of sticky gems in different shapes and colours, two mini bunches of paper flowers! (Not much then - tee hee!).

Goodies!

Hi! Here is the card I made using the wonderful goodies sent to me by Jo! The backing paper, image and flowers were from her and it was very kind of her to think of me!

I also had a go at doing some stitching around the edges with my sewing machine - it was going well but went a bit dodgy on the bottom edge. Never mind!

As for the materials, I'm not sure where most of it came from as most of it is what I received from Jo. The sentiment is: 'Kolette Hall', the glitter is Craft Planet and the ribbon is from my stash.

Having Fun...

Hello! Here is my third card since I started my blog - having fun...

I worked with different colours this time as I would normally go for pretty, girly colours like purple and pink. This is one of my favourite images. I really like House Mouse.

Next weekend I am going out to buy some embellishments from Hobbycraft as I have some money from Christmas. I might post a picture of what I buy if I get the chance!

In Bloom

Hello! Here is my second card. I decided to go with a purple colour scheme today. The flowery backing paper gave the idea for a flower theme. This time, I tried going round the edge of my image in a peachy colour to give it a 'shadow'. Thank you to all of you who left me comments - I was so pleased!

Crafty Monkeys #13 - Something New

Hi! Welcome to my blog! This is my first post and here is the card I am entering into this fortnight's 'Crafty Monkeys' challenge. You can also view my mum's cards by clicking on this link: 'Happily Ever Crafting.' The theme of the challenge I am entering is 'Something New' - I have used some new flowers that I had for Christmas. The backing paper is new as well - I bought a bumper PaperMania pack from my local Hobbycraft store.
